Cabernet Sauvignon is a real vagabond, founds his home in nearly every wine country. Its definitive character is marked further by the terroir of Villany.
In vintage 2008 it is not the usual heavy structure, but a loveable, fruity wine.
The fragrance opens up with layers of sweet, ripe fruitiness (dried cherry, raspberry and plum) and subtle spice tones (e.g. aniseed, tobacco, sweetmeat).
Good choice for stews and roasts.
Average winter, followed by early blooming then the start of ripening. Early vintage, record warmth and cold in September, pleasant October. The wines are intensely fruity, balanced with elegant acids and tannins.
