In addition to the typically Pinot Noir characters, the effect of the warm vintage 2012 is also quite present in the wine.Its color is beautiful, deep ruby color. Its scent are ripe fruits, spicy herbs. His complexity shows ripe sourcherry, roseship, clove, and orange
– marzipan aromas up. It shows marked changes in character in the
bottle, making it an adventure to follow its progress through the years. Let’s open our senses and let it unfold – wine and our imagination.

Good match with flavourful, not too heavy dishes. As it changes its character, it can be matched with various dishes: the young pinot goes well with meat with fruits, when it is more mature it suits lamb and duck dishes. It is exciting to try with goat cheese and goose liver

2012

White and cold winter; warm and sunny spring with early blooming;
hot and dry summer – start of ripening at the end of July. Because
of the hot days the harvest already started on the 21st of August and
lasted until the 19th of October under ideal weather conditions.
Similar to vintage 2006 and 2009 we get concentrated and fruity wines.

VINIFICATION-MATURATION
We processed the grapes form each vineyards seperately.We put the
destemmed grapes (trying to preserve the berries, without
crushing) to the open vats. After 7 days long cold maceration (at 8-12°C) maceration’s total period was 15-19 days on the skin.
Malolactic fermentation and maturation took place in light and middle toasted Hungarian oak barrels of 225 litres.

CONSUME AT: 15°C
