Noble wine named after Duke Montenuovo Nandor, who owned parts of our vineyards at the beginning of the 20th century.

We truly respect him, and we are glad we are in good contact with the Family. The specialty of the is that Nandor Montenuovo’s great-grand son, Alexander Kübeck-Montenuovo has been involved in the blendig of the 2013 vintage cuvée, so the family bloodline has left eternal imprint in the wine.

This wine is a well balanced blend with a golden mean between the full-bodied and the lively-fruity styles. Its bright, fruity upbeat is filled with diverse scents in which bourdeaux varieties come together in a harmonising accord completed with spiciness of the syrah.

It’s complexity makes it a good match with many kinds of dishes, thus a favourite of the best restaurants.

Jolly Joker of gastronomy. It’s complexity makes it a good match with many kinds of dishes, thus a favourite of the best restaurants.

2013

White and cold winter; warm and sunny spring with early blooming; hot and dry summer – start of ripening at the end of July. Because of the hot summer days the harvest already started on the 21st of August and lasted until the 19th of October under ideal weather conditions.
