Noble, like Prince Nandor Montenuovo, who owned parts of our vineyards at the beginning of the 20th century.
It’s a well balanced blend, a golden mean between the full-bodied and the lively-fruity styles.
Medium bodied wine with deep ruby colour. The accent is on the fruit here, both at the nose and on the palate, which is brought through with the vibrant and lively acidity. It is full of refreshing red fruits of all sorts. Tannins are silky and smooth.
Its complexity makes it a Jolly Joker of gastronomy.
Food pairing: stews, roast chicken and duck or pork with pruned fruits, light and mid-matured cheese.
Long and cold winter; warm and sunny spring; cooling down in July, but from August to October nice and long summer with warm days, cool nights. Harvest 2011: August 31st – October 13th under ideal harvest weather conditions, a vintage we always dreamed of.

Cabernet Franc: 17%
The maceration lasted for 15-22 days on the skin; fermentation temperature did not exceed 28–30 °C. For extraction we used pumping over. Malolactic fermentation took place in the barrels. Barrels: 225 l, made out of Hungarian oak from Zemplen, Zala and Mecsek wood.
Age: 15% new, 35% 1 year old, 50% 2 years old.
15-20 months barrel aging were followed by blending and the cuvee was matured for one year in steel tanks.
