Kornél Balogh, viticulturist
I graduated from the College of Horticultural Science in Kecskemét in 1986. I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my father, as well as do something connected to my commitment to Villány and thus choosing winemaking as my profession was inevitable. I like spending even my free time in the vineyards and cellars and hope to pass this lifestyle onto my two children.
I started to work at The Villány Wine Company in 1982 in all areas of winemaking. I have directed the viticulture work for the Vylyan team since 2002.
