Autumn Specials at Vylyan

The most colourful season, autumn, is here, it is the time of harvest and the primeurs, the most essential feast of grape and wine! We have to say goodbye to the hot sun shines until next spring, however, thanks to the tent and the patio heaters you can still enjoy the golden sun shines, the view of the Devil-plowed hill and the colourful vineyards from our Mediterranean style terrace. Until the weather is nice, you can also check out the Artistic Barrels in the park.
Go on a hiking trip or take a medicinal water treatment in one of the thermal spas in the countryside (as you know from the legend, the thermal water is also thanks to Belzebub! ) and then come to Vylyan Winery and enjoy the wines and the delicious bites!

During the harvest you can take a look at the different stages of the winemaking process, from the grape reception area through to the cellar, you can also taste some fresh must, or have a must sorbet, but it is also possible to pick the grapes yourself on Fekete-hegy (if you find any) and press your own grape juice with a mini-press on the terrace!

WINE TASTING
Tasting of 4 wines: 1500 HUF; tasting of 7 wines: 2500 HUF
Visitors can choose from our currently available wines.
For the wine tasting we serve Hungarian pogácsa (savory scone) or kifli (crescent) with cheese.
MAGNUM TASTING
Wines mature well and more optimally in larger bottles. That is the reason why we bottled the best wines of the last few vintages to Magnum (1,5l) bottles, available in limited edition! Bigger bottle greater experience? Taste the wines, and decide it yourself! Price: 4600 HUF/person, (Magnum tasting is possible with at least 12 persons)

Seasoned greaves cream ciabatta and fresh vegetables - 500 HUF
Homemade bean cream with smoked goose breast – 1.200 HUF
Game paté with mushroom – 800 HUF
COLD PLATES
“CLASSICUS” Mixed cold plate with smoked hams and sausages with homemade cheese – 2.200 HUF
“PREMIUM” smoked deer ham, mushroom cream, kulen and deer sausage – 2.500 HUF
CHEESE PLATE – Cheese variation from Ormánság with pumpkin seed bread and autumn fruits – 1.800 HUF

TOUR TO THE DEVIL-PLOWED HILL
Get to know the treasures of nature around the winery!
You can do a hiking tour in the vineyards with the tour guide of the Duna-Dráva National Park (appointment is necessary)! The meeting point is at Szoborpark in Nagyharsány. From here you can hike to the terrace of Vylyan Winery through the woods and vineyards. The distance is about 4-5 kilometres, convenient shoes are recommended!
