Blaufränkisch is a lovable variety with a pronounced spicy character, grown across Central Europe. It’s easy to drink and concentrated at the same time. It has a well-poised and even tempered structure, but it’s vivid and energetic as it hits the mouth.
Blaufränkisch is always one of the varieties of Vylyan blends like Montenuovo and Belzebub. Now it debuts in itself! Available in limited edition.

Our 2008 Blaufränkisch has straight and lovely character and medium body. The accent is on fruitiness and spiciness dominated by sour cherry and chocolate notes.
It is a lively and cheerful wine, thus it is a good starter for the weekends and engine of parties!

The 2007 Blaufränkisch was bottled after long barrel aging, it is a complex wine with vivid acidity.
The nose and the aromas are dominated by fleshy ripe sour cherry complemented with spices from barrel aging (peanut butter, cocoa and coffee) that lasts from the first aroma to the long finish.
It is vivid and energetic but at the same time elegant and harmonious.
It is a fine companion with spicy but not so heavy meat dishes. Excellent choice with a cigarillo, but also delicious in itself, sip by sip, slowly enjoying the moment.
