Dobogó
In the heart of the estate there is a warm, sunny and south facing vineyard called Dobogó (in English: pounding/beating) where our oldest Cabernet Sauvignon plantation is found.

An extraordinary vintage, a prestigious wine.
This terroir and the extraordinary vintage gave the opportunity in our hands, to make this vineyard selection. Our Cabernet Sauvignon plantation, planted in 1992 had extremely low yield; one vine gave 4 dl wine in 2006.
During 18 months aging we selected only the most beautiful lots and bottled these as DOBOGÓ selection.
Cabernet Sauvignon gives robust and full-bodied wine, so no wonder it is DOBOGÓ that leaves the cellar last from vintage 2006 after long barrel and bottle aging.
It is a powerful and inspiring wine.
It is robust, majestic, self-confident and proud but not overwhelming. It is respectful because of its natural greatness and rich character.
From the remarkable aromas to the long-lasting finish it shows great harmony.
The aromas are mature and complex, dominated by blackberry, dried cherries, chocolate and coffee complemented by a hint of spicy dried cep and tobacco notes. The strong tannins and the lively acidity guarantee long life ahead.
Good choice with robust dishes, handcrafted chocolates and cigars. It is perfect for worthy social moments or reading haiku.
