The wine is named after a character of the ancient legend of Villány: Hёrka, the beautiful maiden, whom the devil couldn’t resist.

It’s tempting – silky, round, fruity and fresh.  It is partly matured in steel tanks, smaller part in new barrels. The flowery and exotic fruit-driven style (pineapple and mango) is complemented with nice varietal notes reflecting vanilla and autumn fruits (apple, pear) and a touch of minerality.

It is a fine companion for cream sauces & soups, white meat and fish, or grilled vegetables.

 

Villányi Chardonnay 2010

Silky, dry wine with nice varietal character - reflecting buttery, vanilla and floral notes. It is partly matured in steel tanks, partly in new barrels to provide a more striking but full character. The result is really tempting - round, fruity and fresh.  The fruit-driven style (pear, citrus fruits, gooseberry) is complemented with warm spicy notes (cinnamon and clove). It is a fine companion for creamy soups, white meat and fish.

Dry white wine matured in new barrels. Its complex taste resembles ripe apples and yellow greengage with vanilla-ish, roasty, and herbaceous tones. It is an excellent choice with smoked fish, paté, cream soups, grilled poultry and pork chops.
