Weingut des Jahres in Ungarn!
Nominees for the Winery of the Year are chosen by professionals of the wine business. The title was created to evaluate and acknowledge the standard and normative Hungarian wineries. This year, for the seventh time, the title was given to the winery considered worthy.
Each year the title “Winery of the Year” remunerates the collective achievement of a wine producer company which accomplishes the most in the popularization of the wine culture, the Hungarian wine on both national and international levels.
In 2008 Vylyan Winery in Kisharsány won the title “Winery of the Year”. The ceremony took place on the 4th September in Hotel Four Seasons in Budapest. The award was given to Vylyan Winery by the representatives of the organisers in a prestigious atmosphere with high media attention.
